Manga Plus App Releases First Manga by European Artist

"Miriam of the skulls", manga by the Italian Elena Vitagliano reaches thousands of readers in a few hours after online publication!

LONDON, UK - July 23, 2023 - "Miriam of the skulls", winner of the Magic Competition, has been published just a few days ago on the famous app "Manga Plus". MANGA Plus can be considered the western version of Weekly Shonen Jump, the most famous Japanese manga magazine, published by Shueisha, where you can find extremely famous manga such as One Piece, Naruto and Dragon Ball.

What is different about "Miriam of the skulls" is that the mangaka is not Japanese but Italian, her name is Elena Vitagliano and the story is set in Naples, Italy and it is not at all about what you would expect from a city famous for music and pizza. The main character of this story is a beautiful young lady, Miriam, who has an intriguing job: she is the guardian and guide of an old ossuary. Many readers of the app MANGA Plus have been charmed by this mysterious character and by her peculiar friends who are skulls and bones of ancient souls. In just a few hours after being released online, the Manga ONE-shot "Miriam of the skulls" reached more than 20.000 visualisations.

For manga series, made of so many chapters, this may be a small number but not if you compare it with some other one shots on the app that have 3000 views or so.

Standalone chapters, called Manga ONE-shots, like "Miriam of the skulls" are common in Japan and they are used especially to test the possible success of future characters and their series.

If you are curious and want to read "Miriam of the skulls", you can do it here on MANGA Plus website or here ,downloading the app.

Leave a comment if you like and help the possibility of seeing a manga series based on esoteric Naples and the amazing but still unknown traditions of this beautiful city.
