Avex Pictures Reveals i☆Ris Guest Appearance and New Anime Projects at Anime NYC
Anime NYC to host Japanese voice acting idol group i☆Ris who will perform in New York for the first time. Avex Pictures will host a panel featuring “Pole Princess!!”, “Garden of Remembrance”, a new anime project with Studio BONES, and more.
Tokyo, Japan (November 13, 2023) - Avex Pictures Inc. is pleased to share its activities at this year's Anime NYC with special panel programming and autograph sessions. Anime NYC will be held from November 17-19 at the Javits Center in New York City.

The Avex Pictures Industry Panel would like to introduce three new projects! The first project, “Pole Princess!!” is a story about a group of hard-working girls with dreams and aspirations. The main film will be part of a special release! Next, we'd like to show a teaser trailer for an accomplished work by Director Naoko Yamada. A heartwarming short-animation, “Garden of Remembrance”. Lastly, we invited Masahiko Minami from anime studio, Studio BONES, who continues to release high quality anime to the world. Avex Pictures has teamed up with Mr. Minami for his most recent production. More information will be revealed at the main panel! Attendees to the Avex Pictures panel will receive a special freebie present! We hope you'll attend the panel!

Having celebrated their 10th anniversary, the voice acting-idol unit i☆Ris continues on full-speed ahead with their first live performance in New York! Each of the members has a role as a voice actress and provides music for the anime “PriPara” as well as providing the ending theme song for anime “Kakegurui twin” in 2022. At their core, the most popular songs they perform are anime tie-ins! There will be more information revealed during the second half of their live performance for i☆Ris' animated film “i☆Ris the Movie -Full Energy!!-”. We hope you'll all come out and join us at the stage!!”

The members of i☆Ris are: Saki Yamakita, Yū Serizawa, Himika Akaneya, Yūki Wakai, and Miyu Kubota. In April 2023, they held a nationwide live tour "i☆Ris 8th Live Tour 2023 ~Wasshoi !!!!!”. In August 2023, their 23rd Single "Let you know! Bakasawagi" was released. They will hold a live concert "i☆Ris 11th Anniversary Live” at Pacifico Yokohama on November 26th. In 2024, an anime movie “i☆Ris the Movie -Full Energy!!-“ will be released.
