Actually, it is following the manga... the new manga.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosen_Maiden.

If you look at the list of different media on the right column, then you'l see the last two involve the new manga and now the new anime.

It's not a reboot, though it does have some aspects of one.

I stand corrected, I heard of the second manga series but had assumed that it was a sequel to the first, with Jun growing up. So the video game mentioned is actually based on the second manga series with parallel timelines.

Nice recap of previous seasons as I've forgotten all about them. I guess it'll be somewhat interesting to see what difference would grown-up Jun make to the story.

In the new version does Nori still have naughty yearnings for Jun? If so the deal's off.

Is it weird to ship JunxShinku? :'D

Heh, exactly, right!?

.......shockingly I don't ship the first one....even though they are canon. >_>

It just felt too much like adultxmentally-challenged child to me...so it was bizarre. Anime hyper

There isn't anything like that.
An another note to ship Jun with Shinku felt quite natural in previous seasons, but she became the size of a barbie doll instead of a victorian doll for this series, so I can't really imagine it.

Shinku did seem rather tiny in the first episode of this season. It does hurt the pairing as it suspends belief bit that intimacy is possible.

F**K YEAH. I totally support that!

There's a lot more to romance than just the physical touching, guys.

But that would require getting my mind out of the gutter.
And various doujin would say otherwise.

To be honest I see that, but I just think that it can create a wall that might frustrate certain needs. Although what a dolls needs are I have no idea. Where does the tea go?

And it wasn't until halfway through ep2 that I realized I actually read some of the manga for this 2nd part back when it was new.

I've decided not to continue with it, but I'm sure those who do are going to enjoy it quite a bit.

I enjoyed the hell out of this episode. Because I could relate to it SO much.

Now HERE'S a guy who knows what he's talking about.

And oh yeah, and his manager sucks. Not only is he an ugly skirt-chaser but "Oh, the register's off 1200 yen, so I'll leave and you guys can deal with it?
