By new TV anime series, I really hope they follow the manga faithfully.
This news surprised me tbh lol, was expecting another movie or even a game but instead we got a new season! |

Saw the news on FB this morning! I don't keep up with the manga, but I'll watch the anime for sure. Can't wait!
Aaaaand also hoping to hear more Bryce as Rin soon~ He's improved so much since the first anime it's ridiculous. |

Pretty sure the announcement itself says they're doing the Impure King arc Saw the news this morning and I'm soooo excited about it. Being up to date with the manga, there are so many things I can't wait to see animated. I wonder if they're gonna retcon the ending of S1 or if they're gonna just ignore it ever happened like the Kuroshitsuji Circus anime. Can't wait to see this, I really hope they won't recast everyone though |

Personally, I wish I could be hyped, but...The Impure King arc is my least favorite arc in the series, and IMO, all the manga's best parts have already been covered.

well thats good to hear i have a sort of love hate relationship with this series as i dont know which i feel about it lol.
On one hand Rin constantly annoying me with his always right attitude and inability to think thorugh his actions and the consequences... on the other hand its just so darn fun to read as the side characters get their stories told and I just cant help but laugh at the stupid stuff that goes on like that extra where yukiospoiler[is in just his underwear hiding behind random boxes as his friends walk into his room] |

Joy! I very much enjoyed the anime. But I'm assuming the anime did not follow the manga it was adapted from? If that is the case, then they're most likely recreating it to follow along the manga, a la Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. That's just my assumption.

And here I thought ANN was waiting for Monday.
I assume this will be like Kuroshitsuji. It'll adapt 18 chapters of the Impure King Arc(already been stated) into 1 season. Guess we'll just wait for Monday. |

I wish they would redo it all. 34 chapters takes you to the end of the Impure King arc and would be well paced over 2cours. |
