People predicting this is going to be a bad filler before watching in 3, 2, 1...............
Independent of what we are going to see, I prefer to see the rest of the guardians here than waitng forever for the manga to show them. Also, Pierrot has to have good filler. Not all is bad. You may tell me that´s a lie but you probably are going to talk about the one you have seen so far |

That annoys me, but it's not like I expected more from the anime. I wanted a perfect adaptation fro the beginning so I can't keep complaining. Hopefully it's not terrible.

And if this is mid- or post-timeskip I really hope they nail the older character designs. Here's to hoping the filler is good too. It's an actual arc this time as opposed to generic romcom antics, so I'll hope for the best. |

might pass on watching more cause the canon stuff wasnt really exciting minus a few episodes here and there. So another twenty-some episodes of non-canon material doesnt sound interesting to me.

Yippee more anime original shit that nobody wants. I pretty much marathoned the manga up to the current chapter and yeah, the anime version sucks balls. Its either a bunch of filler, or even when they adapt the manga, they find some way to fudge it up. Studio Clown does it again.

Not all filler is bad

^ You don't have to wait long, There are only 33 chapters and you already meet abunch of important characters as well as a ton of important information and a fantastic romace development between Rokuro and Benio.

The manga is monthly and they've just barely started to introduce a bunch of these "important" characters. Who knows how many months it'll take before we even see one of them in action?
It's funny how the mangareaders neglect to mention the arc after the time skip also trashes Benio's character. Not to mention that horrible villain which was a disappoinment compared to Yuto or Kamui. In a way, I'm glad the second half of the anime will have more original material because maybe now they can fix the flaws of the second arc. |

I think this is awesome news. We get to finally see more romance with rokuro and benio. Also meet more of the bad ass 12 guardians.

Welp, another reason for people to read the manga instead of going through countless filler. I thought the show was generic, but decent when I first watched it, but now that I'm reading the manga, I realize how much the show barely attempts to create a cohesive experience between the two. Honestly, I'm taking a break from the anime to read the manga, and then I'll return to the anime and see how they dig a deeper hole for the series.
Of course I knew to be suspicious when there were 50 episodes announced and only 10 volumes. And the fact that it's being done by Pierrot, who has a mostly bad track record in recent years for filler in their shows. I mean, they are also known for Yu Yu Hakusho, which featured very little filler, but here I feel that the series isn't ready for a 50 episode adaptation. And there are people defending the show on this very forum section! I'm serious, read the manga, you won't be disappointed. |
