Hmm... this is interesting. Maybe they'll eventually go about re-releasing everything that ComicsOne did.

I do agree with the inferior quality bit. They use crappy paper. Sad

Why do you cover Korean comics? I thought this was anime news network dealing with anime and related things like manga, not dealing with Korean comics. If you're covering Korean comics why not French comics or American ones?

They're covering Korean comics because it's asian comics. And French or American comics arent considered as manga or manwha.(did I spell that right...)

They might be Asian, but they're not Japanese.

How about this:
ANN covers both manga and manhwa in their encyclopedia.

I'm not with ANN, but I can explain somewhat. Korean comics came about as are a direct result of the popularity of manga in Korea and share a boatload of chracteristics with their Japanese cousins. French and American comics, who evolved seperate of manga, do not - and as such do not warrent similar coverage. Not to mention Korean comics are being released in the US in large volume by the same publishers that release manga and thus happily mingle on shelves everywhere Smile

By the way... 90% of all in-between animation is done in Korea nowadays. Should ANN stop covering new anime because it is note 'purely Japanese'? Didn't think so either Wink
