While I am glad to see Sentai license more new shows, I hope they are not paying insane amounts of money for these licenses.

Sentai must be getting a bit paranoid after the Funiroll deal, so they're just grabbing at whatever straws they can and hoping that something may hit.

For some reason, I was thinking that Crunchyroll would license this instead of Sentai Filmworks. Nonetheless, I'm glad that Sentai licensed this since this is one of the Fall 2016 anime I'm looking forward to.

I wonder if Sentai is trying to regain their ADV status? They seem to be picking up a lot lately.

I don't believe they are. 3-4 years ago they used to pick up around 50 new series per year. But last year they only picked up 30+ shows. This year Sentai has only licensed 16 new anime series.
