Yes! Everyone let's support this, even if you only watch the sub and this turns out to be dub-only. This needs to do good in order for One Piece movies to continue getting limited releases.
Hopefully they do sub-and-dub though, but even if it's dub only, I'll be happy. I'm assuming it'll be the dub, anyway, given the January release date. |

Um you're actually completely wrong about that. OP has a huge fanbase here which sales of the manga and anime have been pretty good to keep releasing more of them. |

Don't listen to that guy. He's a known OP hater that always talks crap about it in other forums like Adult Swim's forums and other places like that. FUNi wouldn't be doing this if OP was a "failure" here like Detective Conan or SGT. Frog. We wouldn't be near the timeskip here already, 500+ episodes in, if it was a "flop". It's ratings on an already niche block like Toonami is irrelevant. That's basically where he takes his "proof" from. |

Okay they got it for USA and Canada now all i wait for is the UK and I hope they realised both the subtitled and dubbed version |

I saw the movie in Japan and I must say, it had a really good plot setting but the plot was kinda weak and the fights were outright horrible.
I still give it an 8/10 but don't expect any good fights (you can count all the fights this movie had in one hand) and Tesoro literally had a 30 second backstory which I was pissed about since it was really entertaining and I was hoping for it to be longer. Nevertheless, go watch the film guys. Ironically enough I'll be back in January for the month of January so I'll be unable to support the US release, but otherwise I'd definitely rewatch the movie in dubbed format, I love the funimation cast. |

The problem is that they haven't licensed let alone dubbed ANY of movies 1-9,except for strong world and Z. Hell, some thought they would have did that with the chopper movie since it would have been a way to introduce the dub voice for franky since strong world was more or less a dub intro for brook. hopefully funi does get the chance to do the other previous movies as well. |

They actually did dub Movie 8 (The Alabasta remake) right around the same time as when they first licensed the anime. I have no doubt that the other movies will come sooner or later. They're just really low-priority right now and are most likely harder to get as time goes on. |

Film Z actually did very well for Funimation when they did a limited run a few years ago. Plus, you know, I doubt they would still be dubbing One Piece past the time-skip (it just hit 500 episodes dubbed!) if it were a "flop". |
