I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask for some clarity on the punchline. At first I thought the image in the mirror was supposed to just be generic bad anime looking and thought a funnier self referential punchline would be if he was drawn in the Anime News Nina style. Then I thought maybe that was what you were going for, but looking back at Nina the styles don't quite seem to match up to me.
So is that the joke? |

The cover in the comic is from volume 1 of the TV series. I enjoyed the series enough that I have watched it twice, so far. I never saw the movie because it was not licensed here. I also do not get the end of the comic. |

Yeah, sorry about that - originally we were going to do 3 weeks of these little gag strips, but that blossomed into 4. Next week we introduce a new character (there's a new employee!) and a new storyline. |
