Yup, it's an all-female cast for the gems. I feel like this is the show is going to make one heck of a splash in the Fall season despite being idol anime season.

I would have much preferred a more boyish-sounding voice for Phos, but aside from that, the casting seems pretty good.

I hoped for some male seiyuu in the main cast, guys like Murase Ayumu can sound androgynous enough. Too bad, but at least the cast we have doesn't sound too feminine.

Whoa.  Tomoyo Kurosawa is playing the main character in this? I absolutely loved her performance as Kumiko in Sound Euphonium, so her playing any character in a show I'm interested in/watching is a plus in my eyes. I was interested in this one before, but slightly concerned because of the CG. However, this PV actually looks pretty decent, so now I'm very much looking forward to it. I hope that Crunchyroll can get it.

I bet Crunchyroll will, but Amazon could also get it. Netflix probably won't since they have already announced Children of the Whales and Violet Evergarden, and will also likely get Seven Deadly Sins 2 and Knights of Sidonia 3.

I think it will be moderately popular worldwide, but I think it will be really popular over in Japan. I honestly think it will be comparable to Knights of Sidonia in popularity, where some people will dismiss it entirely for being CGI, and a fair amount of people watch it and really enjoy it, but it get's unfortunately overshadowed by other shows. I think that The Ancient Magus Bride, Black Clover, Dies Irae, Inuyashiki, will likely overshadow it next season outside of Japan. I think it will sell well in Japan though.

The CGI looks good and it is well suited for the crystalline nature of the characters. The main issue is usually that the frame rate tends to be low for cost reasons and people compare that to 100 million dollar Hollywood movies.

I have realized with how these Gems get broken up, this show could possibly have one of the prettiest gore scenes in anime.
