It's cool they're coming back for a bit but they just look weird. It's like that character art you get when you pause between frames.

Loving the new designs! Sun & Moon's new look is the best thing to happen to Pokemon since forever. Now if we could get it on Netflix.

Kasumi and Takeshi are coming back, that's for sure, but that's no reason to use their dub names for this article's title until the localized episodes air or The Pokémon Company releases a statement in the West. Stellar reporting standards for ANN as usual.

My goodness. This article is all over the place with no consistency at all. So the article is saying that Misty and Brock will return on September 14 on Disney  ?
With that said, this is not how I wanted Kasumi and Takeshi to return, especially with them looking like that. Should have just made them the main characters with Satoshi in the movie.

The timeframe is also incorrect. Takeshi's last appearance in the anime was 2013, not 2010, which puts him as being absent for less than 4 years. XY is the only series he never appeared in.

Kasumi's looks amazing. The picture Mayumi shared perfectly captures her flirty and promiscuous personality. I hope she gets to say "Watashi wa sekai no bishoujo, Kasumi-sama" again.

I don't care of how their faces look. But what bugs is that they are in their original outfits. They have been changing outfits after the first series ended, especially Takeshi who switched clothes in almost every series. I can understand that Kasumi's old outfit fits to the tropical temperatures, but Takeshi?
It's obviously for nostalgia reasons, yet it's not like they never worn something different before.

Misty did guest star in Advanced Generation, which had Brock as a regular. So their last appearance together was in 2006, only 11 years ago.
Also, if they can get them back for these two episodes, why couldn't they get them back for the movie? Makoto and Souji were basically just Misty and Brock lite.
