I'm excited for the coming adaptation.

About the manga, I won't forgive them if it will confirm it to be prequel to TRC, please let that be its own timeline/universe...

That's great~. I wonder how many of those are confirmed sales, and the LEs versus the normal edition.

Even though I'm enjoying the arc so far, I am curious about how Nanase will write the anime versus the manga. (Like if Meiling will return, if it'll have way more cards again, etc.)

I haven't read the manga yet, but just based on the thumbnail picture... Does Sakura really need a new wand? She just got her own wand and we haven't really even seen it being used in its full capacity yet...

Unfortunately, I highly doubt so. The OVA adapted the manga's ending, essentially retconning the anime ending, the anime's second movie and the anime canon as a whole.

Forgive my ignorance, but what OVA? I consider myself to be a CCS mega fan, but admittedly I've been out of the loop lately due life in general Razz the last CCS anime related thing I watched was the the second movie that put a pin the anime series. I did watch those OVAs released for TRC which had a CCS easter egg moment, but I didn't believe that was directly related. Were there OVAs released for CCS recently that I missed?

Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen Prologue - Sakura to Futatsu no Kuma (OAV)
It's not offically streamed or licensed anywhere yet, but you can find it subtitled out there. As said above, it adapts the ending of the original manga. Quite good, do check it out.

I'm not sure how they managed to preserve the art style the same after all these years, but they did. Same goes for manga, about only difference being, lines are thicker and clearer.
