Well I am super excited for this movie, I just hope I don't need to reschedule my vacation to see it. Looks like the director said go big or go home lol

Technically, 190 countries and territories. With that many, there is less of a chance Portugal is left out than they would be for a Crunchyroll simulcast.

The film tells the story in one complete film.

It tells... a story?... in one film.

No Olivia... wait a minute, no Scar? No Mai, No Ling, No Barry... No Greed, No Sloth, No Pride, No Wrath.. No Kimbley. At this point, why keep Marco? And here I thought "What era are we set in again?" Attack on Titan was a bad adaptation...

They took out the things that made the story epic, they took out the things that made it resonate, they took out the things that made it symbolic... but they left in the basic feels, you know the ones...

Maybe, just maybe, they should have done more than one movie?

Tsubasa Honda: “Whenever I hear the impressions of the people who have seen it, I get this feeling of relief a little bit at a time. There’s also the fact that we didn’t make this film’s Winry blonde like in the manga. It was done on purpose. In actuality, the people acting are Japanese, but Ed is blond so if Winry’s also blonde….. it’s a bit odd, and even if the hair is recreated faithfully, I didn’t want it to look like cosplay. 'I’ll make it look natural’ is what I discussed with the director and [something that] I was especially conscious about." [Oct. 24 2017]

Apparently, this was the reason.

Sounds reasonable to me.
It's easy to tell how proud and confident Sori is in how this movie's turning out, and good for all the FMA fans of the world that this is getting such a wide release! I'm definitely seeing it either way, but remain curious what the movie's runtime is (2 hours? 2-and-a-half?).

Honestly even if we get it over here, probably won't bother, it really doesn't look that good. Wish we got some actual anime here (also Portugal).
