I wonder how X 1999 would have ended... I really enjoyed anime and kinda wanna know what the ending CLAMP had in mind.

I'd imagine the reading after the long hiatus would be awkward, I personally have forgotten most of the story developments, and the art now seems (almost) unfamiliar? I'd just hope Sugisaki sensei would just end the series anytime sooner. No more leaving the fans hanging.

Nice to see this series finally come back, the biggest kicker from the hiatus is that the last chapter ended on a cliffhanger and it’s been since 2009 I believe (correct me if I’m wrong)

Wow, I was literally wondering when this would update the other day, since she finally finished her other story.
As happy as I am this just adds another thing to the never-ending list of things I need to rewatch/reread/catch up on Anime cry

Wow, glad I didn't get rid of my Tokyopop volumes now, though I never read past them. Did Sugisaki go on her second hiatus at the end of an arc?

I know the ending is different than the movie and anime. They said the had to stop the manga for a bit because of how gore-y it was becoming. Which I find stupid because there was a lot of gore in the manga. At least, nothing new to surprise me of it.

Someday it did happen. It has been hinted that x/1999 is in the same world as xxxholic. I think the 2nd volume hints that.
