I think it was Funimation, but since they're partnered up, it'll also be up on CR.

I think it was Funimation, but since they're partnered up, it'll also be up on CR. |
Thanks, I'm signed up with both so I won't have to wait months for it to be home released.

Yes, you'll absolutely need to see High Speed: Free! Starting Days, because that's when we first meet Asahi, Ikuya, Natsuya and Nao and their interactions with the main cast are vital to the plot, so you'll probably be very confused about their reunions in the third season if you didn't see how they worked together in middle school.
I'd say Free! Take Your Marks is a less mandatory watch because it mainly sets up the third season but I don't think it has anything THAT important. Still, it's an interesting preview of what's to come!
As for episode 0 - I'm expecting them to put in on CR, either on the premier of the first ep or earlier, so you'll be able to decide for yourself if you wanna see it or nah.

So a lot of fans are going to be confused then since the movie isn't out on Blu Ray yet. Thanks for the heads up.

Eh, I doubt it. The anime community still thrives on piracy. Something not being legally available has never been much of an issue (not since the internet and fansubs became common place, at least). The larger problem is that a lot of people still don't know that they should watch Starting Days and they'll enter season 3 confused because they haven't been in the fandom since Eternal Summer ended.
