I'm really looking forward to this one, and Akio Ohtsuka is perfect casting.

Ummm, about Akio Otsuka...

I am someone who consider his voice on the same god level as, well, by many people as Norio Wakamoto.
He simply makes anime feel better for me, no matter if he voices funny, or serious character.

As for this new Baki anime, I never seen anything by Keisuke Itagaki before, so before I get to this, I'll see previous anime he is original creator of, in order of release.

It seems OVA from 1994 is the first one...

but the real question is that will this anime be related to the old central park media ova's or is this the sequel to the 2004 baki the grappler tv series?

Funny that they are revisiting this series. I keep coming across the earlier show's boxset.

It's definitely a sequel to the TV series.
