omg Luci Christian is going to cry SO MUCH. I remember listening to the actor commentary for Princess Tutu and apparently she cried through dubbing several episodes of that (which are, granted, emotional) ... I can only imagine for MIA Shocked

Luci Christian as Reg sounds perfect, I've recently been re-watching Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi and she is so good at playing young boys. I've never heard of Brittany Lauda, is she new? I had expected Riko Hilary Haag to voice her. I've got this feeling that Monica Rial may voice Nanachi. Please have Shelley Calene-Black voice Ozen

She's not new to anime, but she's relatively new to FUNimation and Sentai. Arguably, her most popular role in anime is Ichigo in Darling in the FranXX, and she's really great in that, so if the voice direction is good, she should do a good job as Riko.

Besides acting, she does quite a bit of voice directing as well.

Funny thing is that Brittany has been dating Matt "Hiro" Shipman for 7 years.

Oh yes I seem to have not seen the shows that she has stared in, that said I am planning on going back and watching Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars with the dub. Oddly Wikipedia claims that she lives in NY.

When was the last time Luci Christian got cast in a lead role? This is fantastic. She really should be cast as more heroines and villains.

Luci played one of the leads in Flip Flappers, released on home video back in February.

That sounds like a great casting for the leads of Made in Abyss. I haven’t heard Luci Christian play a lot of boys recently, but I feel confident that she and Brittney Lauda will do a great job. Can’t wait to see the full casting! Smile

Looking forward to owning both of these series once they come out on blu-ray!

Although I'm pretty sure the one actor's name is actually Greg Cote, since I tried looking up past roles, and no one named Greg Cole exists.

actually she is already got recasted as kaname for full metal panic season three, but that was WAY TOO OBVIOUS and a clear shoe win. i mean the whole dubbing community would have been in a frenzy if they had someone else!

actually you might be incorrect. the only actor commentary where that happened was in ep 13 for shikibane hime as well as the final eps of chrono crusade. and i should know cause i have that collection of that series! i don't know about princess tutu though, but there would have been a mention about that when ANN did their review years ago!

regardless, definitely looking forward to the dub version of made in abyss. scum's wish on the other hand , OH HELL FREAKING NO!!!!! dub or not that abomination should be avoided like the plague. if there is one series that deserves the sub only treatment its the two that more than deserves the honors of the WORST SERIES EVER which is that one as well as NTR Trap!

I'm not a dub fan, but I expect that actress to cry like her dearly beloved family member has died for that Made in Abyss episode dub.
