I really enjoyed the anime, I hope there is another season sometime.

If not then I guess I will just have to read.

It is unlikely, in one of the volumes of the MC even got its female form in his own harem, lol. In any case, this franchise parodies the yuri-ish gender bender rather than trying to play it seriously.
