I'm happy to celebrate good news in an otherwise dismal world of working conditions many animators face. Asking to be treated like other workers in similar industries in other developed countries would have been a pretty low bar to clear, but the anime industry is somehow peculiar.

It's about high time that hard working artists in the Anime Industry as a whole finally receive and get treated with the respect that they deserve, and are long overdue.

They do, any contract worker or sole proprietor can buy workers compensation insurance. |
