It's funny, Valkyrie has so many parallels to one of the characters Sawashiro played in Fairy Tail, so I thought, "Wouldn't it be funny if they actually got Sawashiro to play her?" Well, here we are. Of course, she definitely stands apart in ways that the parallels don't come to mind the first time you see her. With all the buildup she gets, she'll definitely leave an impression on viewers by season's end.
Oh, and there was also news that the same episode will feature a cameo from a Japanese YouTuber as a character from the manga who was based on him. I wonder if this means they'll go as far as to get this YouTuber too, depending on both his availability and fluency in Japanese. But seeing how he's a native of Germany and his character is more than just a walk-on role, it's definitely a long shot. |
