That's a shame. I understand why they would make a decision like this, but he is one of the reasons I enjoyed the show so much. Perfect casting imo. Now my interest has dwindled.

Well, as long as they cast someone that sounds similar I won't have too many problems. I have to admit the VA for Anos was pretty damn solid for the type character he is. So if they new VA is too different it will hurt the new season's reception.

Yuichiro Umehara would be a pretty nice fit. Voice of Goblin Slayer (Goblin Slayer), Seiya Ryuuguuin (Cautious Hero).

I knew Suzuki was getting recast left and right, but I wasn't sure if he was going to lose Anos too. Jeez. I know some people were wondering why this didn't blow over like Daisuke Namikawa or Nobuhiko Okamoto's cheating scandals did but I guess cheating on a famous Japanese pop star doesn't end well.
Suzuki was great as Anos so it'll be tough hearing a new voice in the role. I wonder if they'll also sing the Opening like Suzuki did. |

LiSA is signed to Sony/Aniplex and Maou Gakuin is an Aniplex series. The writing was on the wall.
Think I'll still watch the sequel but my enjoyment factor is going to be waaaay down. |

It's only a matter of time. It's understandable but still sad nonetheless. I even heard about this show because he was playing the MC role in the first place.
Honestly have no idea whos good enough to replace him for Anos role. He carried the show with his performance. There are some veterans that can somehow imitate his voice, but it wont have the same quirk and weight that Suzuki has. Maybe they're going to use a junior VA, but time will tell. |

I get why, but still certainly sucks for the sake of enjoyment. Was pretty perfect casting. Hopefully whoever takes over can do a good job.

I'm not sure what "first season" you mean? The opening to the first season of Misfit was done by CIVILIAN, not OLDCODEX. |

That is Japan for you. Think what happened to Tiger Woods but in a culture where conforming and being a part of the group is held in the highest regard. It is basically taboo for sexual misadventures to reach the public.

I know that is fiction, but one would think that the same type of Japanese people would have a similar bias against all the NTR and similar in anime, manga, and light/web novels. |
