Yeah...much more romcom than normal in my anticipated watch list. Spy x Family, Shikimori, and World Domination will all be at least tried.

At first all I've got are sequels and Spy Family, but I'll be checking out reactions for like 10 other anime to see if I should start them. Out of those, I guess the ones I'd be expecting the most out of would be Love After World Domination and Summer Time Render

glad to see mobuseka here, everything else was pretty much expected. the bit feels like it was done by manga reader, which is how i started with it, nothing wrong with that. as a novel reader i just maybe to add that it keeps on improving and even the silly bits are properly explained. what works against it is his reverse bait title as it atracts a different demographics ( and this franchise pulls that card twice, with the "silly" spin off).

In terms of series, my most anticipated are Love After World Domination, Aoashi, Shikimori, A Couple of Cuckoos, Komi-san part 2, and Aharen. So many romcoms.

L.A.W.D. because I've read the manga and it was a damn good time, so I hope the anime does well.

I've been reading the Aoashi manga, I'm 70 chapters deep and it's so incredibly addictive for a soccer manga. spoiler[P.S. Akutsu sucks.]

I loved season 1 of Komi-san, so I'm hoping Netflix don't do a Stone Ocean with this one.

ACoC and Shikimori because romcom hijinks.

Aharen because did you see that trailer? They were shoot dancing. That's enough to win me over. I don't think I've ever seen an anime feature the shoot dance before.

In terms of movies, it's gotta be Wit Studio's Bubble. I don't think I've ever been hyped for an anime movie release because of uncertainties when I was in the UK and the fact that anime is a small subculture in Nigeria (and that's because of the widely-held belief that animation is for kids).

I'm sad (but understanding) that Ya Boy Kongming was not mentioned at all.

I mentioned it! Briefly, but still, I'm looking forward to it. Smile

Not to mention that it's already available to watch over at Hidive, but due to the Preview Guide not starting until tomorrow it (& that Kenda Master Ken TV series, which debuts later today) will essentially kind of already be "old news" by the time previews for it go up, especially when compared to the deluge of content that Crunchyroll will have.

In fact, I honestly feel like Hidive's offerings will all just get lost in the shuffle, since the majority of the stuff we're getting from here on out is coming exclusively from Crunchyroll.

Oh, I didn't see that, my bad!
Also, neat to see you here. Your Heike Monogatari reviews were really insightful to read.

Love After World Domination and Spy x Family are ones I'm also looking forward to checking out, but too many others are debuting or (especially) returning this season for either to even be in my top 5.

Ascendance of a Bookworm s2 is unquestionably my Most-Anticipated this season (and probably for the year), with Demon Girl Next Door s2 unquestionably as my #2 for this season. The returns of Tiger & Bunny and Shield Hero are also high priorities. Out of the new titles, Dawn of the Witch sounds most intriguing to me, but I'm also a little biased there; I've done graduate-level research on witchcraft persecutions, so any title using that is going to catch my attention.

Demon Girl Next Door s2 and Kaguya-Sams s3. Curious about Spy x Family, hope it works as an anime.

Thank you! I loved writing them, and now my big anime dream is that the same team will adapt The Tale of Genji or The Changelings. Smile
