I love that one of Usagi in Tuxedo Mask's cape and all the Sailor Guardians together!

I'm of the opinion that there is easily enough of a demand for a permanent Sailor Moon museum. 30 years after the first season's debut in Japan, it's still a very popular and recognizable worldwide property. In light of Covid and how expensive/difficult it is for foreigners to visit Japan for at least the next few months, it would be great if something like this could be permanent so that, once things clear up, those of us who want to visit the exhibit can do so.
I'm curious to see what all will be included, particularly on the anime production front. Also would love to know if any shikishi will be included from artists who worked on the series. I assume that Ikuko Ito won't be included since there seems to be a lot of bad blood there, but Shimogasa, Tadano and maybe some of the people who worked on Crystal would be nice to look at.

I think they look absolutely stunning. I love seeing how her art has matured over the last 20-30 years

I absolutely love Sailor Moon with the cape and I always thought she looked better with it and the mask which I wish she kept both longer in the series. And is that Chibi Moon with the Moon Stick?

I think the issue with having something like this as a permanent museum is it could risk damaging the materials by having them exposed to light for too long, especially with rare anime cel work.

As someone who owns many cels, particularly Sailor Moon cels, there are ways to exhibit them that will minimize any damage. I also say this as someone who has sent some cels over to a couple of museums in The Netherlands a couple years ago and was pleasantly surprised that the cels did not fade and no damage was noticed despite them being loaned out for a couple years.
As long as the cels are nowhere near a light source, like a window or right under an indoor light fixture, they'll be fine. With paper artwork, like douga, those are not as sensitive, especially if they are framed by someone who is experienced with paper preservation.
I also don't consider Sailor Moon cels to be rare with over 200 episodes and 3 movies worth of cels. Good stuff is hard to find though, as it was when I was primarily collecting in the 2000s.
