Made in Abyss is there.

No mention of Overlord IV, but that is my must watch.

Interested in Call of the Night, Uncle from Another World, and Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World.

I had thought that Reincarnated as a Sword was coming out in the Summer, but it is a Fall premiere it seems.

I'd be excited for devil part timer... if I didn't read the manga pass the point of the anime. The author seemed to have ran out of idea and fell back on the classic red flag of introducing a baby character, sure sign that something has gone on for too long. Maybe the adaptation will be able to make something great out of it, but I doubt it.

Somewhat similarly, biscuit hammer is really great but the ending left me really cold so I dunno if I'll watch it.

Also I gotta watch the made in abyss movie, hate it when they do show-movie-show.

Easy: Made in Abyss season 2. I also have high expectations for Call of the Night.

Gotta totally disagree here; the baby character isn't a gimmick. Getting into what role she plays in the overarching plotlines would be straying into spoiler territory, but trust that she is a fully integral part of the bigger plot.

That aside, Devil is a Part-Timer! is certainly high on my Most Anticipated list, too, even though I know where it's going. The new character design style will be an adjustment, but I don't think anyone needs to worry about the content holding up. I do feel the franchise bogs down in later novels, but the content which will likely be the source material for this season (i.e., novels 3 and 4, maybe 5 if they rush) still keeps things fresh and fun, even as the bigger plotline starts unfolding.

I'm also with Rebecaa on DanMachi, and for exactly the same reasons.

Among other returning titles, Overlord and Made in Abyss sequels are in my top 5 for Most Anticipated, especially since I don't know where either is going.

If Bastard!! is being considered part of this season then it has to be my #1, though. Screenings of its OVAs were a priority viewing experience during 'cons in the '90s, and I've always wanted to see more. I will probably spend most of Thursday marathoning it on Netflix.

Amongst new series, Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer sounds most intriguing, but I'm looking forward to a couple of other titles surprising me. (I rather doubt Yurei Deco will be one, since I generally don't care for more experimental visual styles, but I will at least check it out.)

EDIT: Oh, and I completely forgot to add My Stepmom's Daughter is My Ex, which I'm looking forward to for sheer perversity's sake.

I'm happy to see so much enthusiasm behind Yurei Deco and Shadows House from the staff. I picked up the Shadows House manga after season 1 of the anime and was quite impressed. Here's hoping that they do a good job with season 2. Unlike season 1, the manga has a good natural stopping point that would fit nicely into a single cour, so they shouldn't need to make any anime-original episodes to close out the season.

I'm actually kinda curious about The Devil is a Part Timer season 1 now, with all the hype that I'm seeing from season 2. I never really thought twice about it when season 1 aired, but to see this much enthusiasm after this much time suggests that I missed out on something.

Beyond that, the previews for Cyberpunk looked lovely. Studio Trigger can be hit-or-miss, but when they hit, the results can be spectacular, and the trailers suggest that this will be a hit.

I wouldn’t bet the house on it, but I could see Prima Doll being the big surprise of this season. I get that it doesn’t seem to neatly fit into any of our easily-definable broad-appeal categories we anime fans gravitate towards (“What if we took GochiUsa but made all the girls decommissioned android soldiers?”), and I get that it’s coming from a baby of a studio that has not in its brief history produced anything worth mentioning, so I totally understand why it isn’t on many people’s radars yet. But just looking at the promotional materials, watching the trailers and stuff, I think it might just end up being far better than the level of attention it's getting would suggest.

If nothing else, I could see it ending up in a Girls' Last Tour -esque purgatory -- too dark/weird for some moe fans, while still too moe for most non- moe fans.

Nice to see Shadows House topped some people's list that's the one I was most hyped for after the trailer watch party.

Out of all of these, I'll most probably go with Lycoris Recoil, Shadows House S2 and Love Live Superstar S2, we'll see about the rest. The isekai slime show 3.0 with the most generic title ever looks stupid fun though, might check that out as well. As for Tokyo Mew Mew New, it depends on whether it's a sequel or a reboot, if it's the latter, I might watch it as well.

I can't WAIT to see Tokyo Mew Mew New! It's a classical magical girl show and I love that sort of thing. Plus, cats. I love cats.

I'm also really looking forward to Phantom of the Idol.

Well I spent $5000 for a full car wrap of Chizuru Mizuhara that I'm having installed in July so it should be obvious, lol

Call of the Night is at the top for me; one of my favorite manga currently. I don't think I had even heard of Yurei Deco before this article, and while I'm not a hardcore Science Saru person, the visuals and synopsis have me intrigued. I never watched or read any of Bastard!'s material before, but I may check it out. Made in Abyss is also possible(though indeed problematic), if for no other reason than the upcoming arc hasspoiler[ been very, very long, with lots of strange characters, lil fellas, and backgrounds that will be nice to see colored and dynamic. A lot of the Village kinda blends together/has too much going on in the manga, so seeing it fleshed out(in some cases literally) will be a treat. Along with lots of moments and a certain toilet I could easily pass on... ].

I might actually enjoy that show.

My perverse choice is Extreme Hearts, since I have found a show with low to no expectations by others each recent season to enjoy. Watching the first episode no matter how bad the reviews are.

I am curious to the reasoning for watching a reboot but not a sequel?

Team up! Team up!

Did anyone else watch the dub a couple of decades ago on that obsolete technology called NTSC broadcast television?

Overlord S4 is definitely my number 1 for this season.
Danmachi S4, Devil Part-timer S2 also round out the top.

I've been re-watching the previous seasons for the shows above along with Classroom of the Elite, so looking forward to the second season of that as well.

Abyss S2 is high as well, but I haven't gotten a chance to watch the recap movies (as a refresher for the first season) and the 3rd movie yet before the new season.

I really enjoyed the classic Bastard!! OVA, but the later parts of the manga weren't as great, so while I plan to check that out, it's not as high. Hopefully it turns out well =)

Biscuit Hammer, Uncle and Yurei Deco are probably the top for new series and I hope Teppen is good too =)

I'm telling Monika! (she won't be happy...)

Well, before last season I was so hyped for Shield Hero2 and we see how that went... Mad so now I'm cautiously anticipating Shadows House2. In addition to the obvious "ones to watch" I still want to see Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World and Call of the Night looks (yummm...). Uncle from Another World also seems like it could be a fun "perverse choice". Bring on the voting already...
