I mostly know Q-Tec for their horrible BD upscales...

Someone really didn’t think things through with that name. Since it uses a lower case Q I thought it said pooop instead of qooop.

I would LOVE an infographic of all the companies and production units and how they're related. With all the mergers and buy-ups going on recently its hard to keep track of who owns who and who is under an umbrella with who else.

lol I thought the same thing and will likely refer to this company as 'poop' in the future.

That wasn't great either, the only reason that's praised is because of well...a whole lot of green elsewhere.

And let's not forget Toei's own screwed-up remastering of the Buu saga. Not sure how that managed to be worse than the outsourced remaster of the earlier episodes (Q-Tec at least seemed to try with the stuff they were given, even if the end result looked blegh), but here we are.

^Hence why I said "a whole lot of green elsewhere", both Buu Kai and the Dragon Box DVDs had the exact same problem.
