Shippūden isn’t on Netflix except for a few of the movies.

Might depend on your region, Canada has up to episode 221.

Embarassed

The news refers to the US Streaming.
Netflix France for example has all Naruto and Shippuden and also Boruto up to episode 156 + all the movies.

This news also applies to Canada, if I go to these titles it says leaves on the same dates as listed here. I find it weird though, didn’t they just buy the rights to all deathnote stuff, monster, berserk etc? And instead of adding any of it we have removals.

Bleach and One Punch Man s1 are also leaving Hulu soon. What's going on with Viz?

Maybe moving to a different streaming service, or potentially their own service? It would possibly explain why they also haven't revealed which it is that will stream the new Bleach season next month. It's definitely all curious moves, to be sure.

They already did that twice before. Don't see them doing that again. Neon Alley was a disaster.

I think it more likely more Viz titles will be absorbed into the Crunchyroll monopoly than them starting their own service and Crunchyroll already has a streaming deal with Viz. It's just frustrating since I was hoping to catch up on the Bleach anime for the new season and I would prefer to watch it dubbed and Hulu was the only site that has all of Bleach dubbed. It's also nice and important to have a lot of backlog anime on multiple apps to reach casual audiences. But Viz doesn't even really license enough new anime anymore to have their own service. And the Bleach streaming news is almost certainly going to be announced at NYCC.

Wait but Hulu is the only place that Bleach dub is streaming. Where else would it be?

Didn't they just add more of the Shippuden dub to Hulu as well? It's not impossible that this all ends up getting renewed, but between expirations on Netflix and Hulu plus the ambiguous situation with Bleach 2, pretty weird stuff.
