I am going to predict this is going to premiere around January 2024. Surprised

I do wonder what more they can do with this title. Have one of the girls graduate or something?

Wait, in the movie they are adult/older right? So is a third season about them being adult or before that again like the previous seasons?

Movie is basically "what if"-scenario, so yeah - it's the actual continuation of the second season and girls are still late teenagers.

Omg, this is some of the best news. I was so hoping we would get a third season and here we are. I am so looking forward to go camping with these girls and enjoy all the scenery

I am happy, but I would be more excited if Crunchyroll had already solicited BD releases for seasons 1 and 2. Hopefully we have those BD's before season 3 premiers.

I've read the two volumes my library has past the Izu trip... And it's pretty much the same as what we've seen in S2 - ringing the changes on more of the same.

Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with that.

Well, they probably decided to wait on that until the show was dubbed... which I'm actually grateful for, because the dub for season 1 has been fantastic. I'm glad I waited this long to start watching it. I hope they dub all of it, because this is one of the most comfortable shows I've watched in a long time.

Now if Crunchyroll can get around to dubbing A Place Further Than The Universe, that would be swell.

Is there still more manga to adapt?

Interesting this was announced right after I finished the last dubbed episode of the first season yesterday. Hopefully season 2 and the movie get dubbed without much delay so I can check them out. Love the series so far. Also, A Place Further than the Universe needs a dub and home video release asap! I watched the subbed version of that and loved it.

Yes. I recently read volume 10 and 11, which would basically constitute the first three or four episodes of the new season (plus possibly a starter/reintroduction episode preceeding that, but I hope they don't.)

Yes, there’s 3-4 volumes past what’s been adapted into anime.

Laid Back Camp has been one of my favorite iyashikei series so I'm really happy the movie isn't the end and they're going to adapt more of the manga.

That's a relief. I'm now... wait for it... one happy camper. Razz

Are there any relatively recent iyashikei anime series in this vein which you would recommend? I know my slice-of-life classics like Fruits Basket or Clannad but haven't really been keeping up with the genre lately.

I suppose I should also specify that I'm not really into shows with an overtly supernatural bent (in this particular genre), but then again I loved AnoHana (which has preternatural elements and is pretty plot-centric, despite arguably qualifying as iyashikei), so that's not quite accurate.
