The new Pokémon games sold 10 million in the U.S in the first three days. Proof that American fans will buy a game even if it runs like a potato.

I believe it's the worldwide sales that are over 10 million; still as you say, people don't really seem to care about the technical glitches.
I'll wait for a year at least before thinking of buying these.

Like Kaoru said, that figure is world wide. It sold 4.5 mil in Japan alone, becoming the biggest video game launch in japan. But continue singling out americans.

I bought if for my sister and she laughed when I told her it had launch day issues. She played and I watched her play for hours, the frame rate was entirely acceptable and I didn't see a glitch. Maybe those come later in the game, but I think it's funny the things gamers complain about. My sister's friend also talked about how it was "unoptimized", yea we heard about it, but she herself had not experienced any problems.

That's because 95% of the glitches are purely visual. Technical glitches are not really much common until you unlock the titular legendary to fight very late into the game (since, as evidenced since the trailers, it is also your ride).

This game's most criticized problem seem to be harmless visual glitches and some performance issues, particularly inside the cities (frame drops to nearly all NPCs and mons walking around), people do well in not let that ruin their experience, since it's, in my opinion, one of the best games in the series and most definitely the one that has shaken the formula the most.

I'm listening go on, the Canadian dollar is fine. The European and American dollar has collapsed in the advanced histories.
