Spy x Family: Loid almost break a man because he made his daughter cry and said that "the wife should be doing the cooking".
Buddy Daddies: "You're a woman, you ought be a mother!" and "Oh, kids are ignoring your daughter because she does not fit".

I was waiting to watch this show for weeks, high spectations. But now I'm only watching it to have backgroung noise at home xD

The assassin buddies are really incompetent and unprofessional, since cannot complete the missions successfully and tend to make a mess and get discovered by the badguy colleague xD
They took the little girl home almost "just because", their reasons were not convincing at all, and otaku buddy was just "whatever".

Very lacking of character development, "meh" personalities. The story is not going anywhere yet, just their daily routines.
I'm not really caring for them... we are not connecting... : (

Horrible queerbait and a lot of "not homo" scenes.

There is no reason they can't have a fun show with platonic relationships like the old Three Men and a Baby movie. There's no need to make them gay or fall for each other. Found family is a better more uncommon plot and works without pushing them past their norm.

People wanna ship them whatever but in reality there's yaoi or BL if you want that go elsewhere. Buddy comedy are rare in anime and it's a great premise without having to ruin it with them hooking up unnaturally. The more than friend vibe is called brotherhood from being partners in a dangerous thing like military type of stuff.

"Queerbait" refers to a more specific tactic where a work outright promises LGBT content to "bait" an LGBT audience, but never actually delivers on it. The promotional materials never actually said Kazuki and Rei would get together as a couple, and they were upfront about listing "gambling and women" as Kazuki's interests (though bisexuality certainly isn't out of the question for him). A better example would be all those times Disney has hyped up their "first openly LGBT character" in one of their movies, only for it to just be for a minor character with a throwaway line that never amounts to anything significant.

People can absolutely ship Kazuki and Rei if they want (though I personally don't see much romantic chemistry between them, and I'm a fan of plenty of m/m ships), but someone's ship not becoming canon =/= queerbait.
