Its kinda weird and disappointed that this one will not get an english dub ( the special short itself never get english dub ). Usually any western IP/franchise that get an anime adaptation from japan always get an english dub, but why Demarco choose not to give it an english dub ?

I'm admittedly curious and I'm already laughing at the OP, but I do wonder how much I may enjoy this. Especially with how fast Rick & Morty can be, the subs might be hard to keep up with. I do watch sub series mostly without a problem, but a couple of the shorts went by so fast with the action and subs, I struggled a bit with what I was paying attention to at times. It didn't help as much when the subs also blended at times with the animation, making it even harder to read. If the subs are more outlined like they were on the interview portion, that might help a lot more than the typical yellow or white text color, but still might be a bit of a pain.

Do wish this was getting a dub, even if they decide to do a completely different dub than the show's cast. I mean, that was going to happen anyway for Rick & Morty themselves, but if you're doing basically an entire different world, a new voice cast would be kinda fitting. But just a dub in general would be better anyway, not only to keep up with the action for those that struggle with subtitles but also it'd probably have more fan engagement compared to it being subbed.

"How are we going to handle the show now that Justin Roiland is gone? Well, we have some thoughts..."

Funny, I would've figured the girl in the OP to be a redhead, all things considered.

Seriously though, I can't even imagine how all this will play out. American shows converted into anime have been relatively hit or miss. Sometimes we get something that trumps the original, others we get Mutant Turtles: Superman Legend.

if some of the stories about Roiland are to be believed,he was barely involved with the show since season 3 in any capacity(other than recording voices),so whatever their plans are for the franchise in the future, his firing probably didn't affect them that much other than recasting his voices.

It's just appropriate that 14-year-old Morty again hooks up with what looks like an adult woman. All his best relationships are with adult women! Laughing
