It is such a waste to have a complete animated project just sitting there. I hope they do get to release it.

Next year could be a perfect oppertunity considering it's the Alien Franchises 45th anniversary and it is getting new projects released. (unless the strike has also affect that, did it?)

Or maybe down the road for the 50th anniversary. Either way, i want to see it.

it would probably be better than anything from both franchises lately(sans Prey and a couple of games)

The plot thickens but this one will sadly remain in the Disney Vault with how things are going with buried streaming shows even if that one exec who hated this is gone. It´s always one person. See Babylon 5. Star Trek: Prodigy or Pantheon have a fully finished S2 but it´s now known if either will ever come out. Pantheon S1 was even deleted from streaming outright so piracy is the only choice rn. Star Wars Detours managed to have one ep 1 leak but that´s it so far. Stuck in the Disney Vault with Song of the South.

The streaming boom-to-bust bubble ended up taking half the industry with it. Both Hollywood strikes are about that but no one needs to pay residuals for content that can´t generate any and can be written off the tax report. Batgirl cost a cool 90 million to simply make without marketing and whatnot.

I liked the old arcade game.. I think this was one co-production that had potential and could have been nice.

I detest the fact that 20CF was sold to Disney. Heck, one reason is that I am FB pals with a woman who is an expert on Fox movie company founder William Fox. Just because Rupert Murdoch at the time could doesn't mean he should.

I am constantly copy-pasting the below message and have been doing so daily for at least 48 months. I tend to do it at least 10x a day to increase my tweet counts and express how I feel: "-Shame on Rupert Murdoch for selling off most of the Fox Empire, for the USDOJ permitting a semi-monopoly, and Disney for buying. 1000s of lay-offs are not worth it. Uncle Walt and film producer William Fox would not approve of this merger."

I have not idea how well Aramaki-san does at reading English but he did like this May 22 tweet of mine shaming those involved parties: twitter.com/Kadmos1/status/1660607371272667137.

-In kind of makes sense that 20CF was involved with anime at all. That is, the first animation that Fox ever did was distribute the non-vaudeville version of the Trope Maker of animated films, "Gertie the Dinosaur". Without GtD, no Disney empire and perhaps no modern Japanese anime.

An immigration ship, eh? Was hoping it might be based off the original graphic novel by Randy Stradley; that book did get a Japanese release.
