I beg you don't be a Sinistea evolution, it was one of my worst and longest shiny farming experience in gen 8 and 9 only to receive a perfect iv shiny unique version Polteageist with a surprise trade literally 10 min after i got the Sinistea shiny.

Per the official website, it's not related to Sinistea, but rather is another convergent species, like Wiglett and Wugtrio. I'm safely assuming that this is an evolution (with my guess being that we need to find a matcha tool or caddy to evolve it), and there will be a matcha cup pre-evolution with a related pun name we'll find sometime during our adventure in Kitakami.

I'm curious if they will keep the idea of there being "authentic" and "phony" versions like the original Sinistea line, or will they just let it be one version. I feel like they will do two different forms, but I'd be okay if there wasn't. Either way, more info we keep getting about the DLC has me very excited, and I can't wait for the first part to drop next month!
