My body is ready, though I don’t actually expect the chapters until Spring.

I am hoping for the best, that his body is strong enough and able, and that the new chapters will keep 'em coming Smile

Excited to see what's next for my second all-time favorite manga!

4-5 Chapters for a Vollume and then again in Hiatus.. I hate it and love it at the same time. I know he is old i know he has health issues... But everytime i see a tweet it's happiness and tears of both happinessa nd sadness at the same time. Wish he left that good, or like Bungou Stray Dogs speak with the Anime Studio and give them a leyline to see the story animated before the manga..

The Past of the Spiders was so good.. I need to see this arc animated even if it's OVA's..

Feels like I've been on this whale arc for 10 years. Will he finally be able to finish it before going on hiatus again?

We will find out!

I can't help but wonder if Togashi wishes in retrospect that he never introduced the Dark Continent. The election arc where the 2011 anime left off felt like such a natural ending point: Gon recovered and finally got to meet Ging, Killua managed to throw off the shackles of his family and free his sister, and both Leorio and Kurapica were doing their own things. Of course there was much more that could have been told, but given Togashi's continuing health issues, it would have been a fine place to say goodbye to the characters. Instead he decided to make the entire series up to that point a sneak prologue, as if we'd been reading One Piece's East Blue saga without knowing what it was meant to be, and introduce this massive new world. Unfortunately I don't see any way that Togashi reaches a conclusion to this huge new storyline in his lifetime, not unless something drastic happens like a massive improvement in his condition, or an unlooked-for decision to pass drawing duties to another artist and only handle writing. I'm sure the new content is fantastic, but is it worth it in the end?

Maybe for him it is...Let's not forget Togashi is a Veteran hardcore Mangaka. He has been a flagship for Jump for years with his previous work and HxH ofcourse. I assume he wanted to show people he has more! The issue is for me he had health issues before during the Chimera Ant Arc let's not forget the ending chapter that was just scribbles. I love it and hate it cause when he did the Dark Continent Panel i was in Awe. I wish he could give his idea to Madhouse and work with them to see it a nimated and make a few novels after that as a continuation.. I miss regular reading HxH but i wish Togashi the best healthwise.

Honestly I would really wish that he just move away from weekly publishing. It's hard enough on healthy mangaka, and it's never gonna be sustainable again for him in his condition at this point.

Jojo feels so great beeing monthly but i think due to his tiuation/mood (Togashi) can't commit to 1 chapter every 3 months. I wish we could have at least 4 chapters a year in that format..

Didn't they say that he and his editors were working together to create a better working schedule for Togashi when he went on hiatus last time? I feel like I remember that being talked about.

Hell no. that wouldn't even work as an ending. kurapika never have a closure to that point in the story and not a much needed development yet. leorio i think is in blank character, because never have a significant battle with enemy tho, or showed any awesome medical skills neither looks like is just another supporting character after all... um, for me killua needs to fight with Illumi for real freedom (kinda see a resolution with death to that problem) goney could come back but idc, he's the least of my favs.

I didn't say it would have been ideal, but all things considered at least there would have been some small sense of finality. I mean your shonen lead got to fulfill his primary goal, that counts for quite a bit right?
