Great to hear this. This was a quality movie that absolutely deserves greater exposure than its very limited theatrical run.

Sign of the times that “limited theatrical run” for an anime movie now means “in a large number of cities and towns for just one week”. Here in Grand Rapids (city pop. 300K, metro 1M), it was at multiple theaters, with multiple screenings each day, dub and sub. I have to imagine Theron had his choice of theaters in Indianapolis, too. Ten years ago, this movie would have gotten, at best, one subbed screening on a Tuesday night in a dozen theaters nationwide.

Surprisingly, no. It only played in one theater in the metro area, and I think only for one night. Very unusual in recent years for Indy area to get such a limited showing, hence why I assumed it was a more limited release.
