Big O is a Sunrise IP (and by extension, Bandai.) I don't see why people were thinking it was Big O at all.

Why would Nintendo make a Mario anime with one of the sister companies of their rivals?
Also, the show will be revealed on the 18th. So there'll only be four letters.

It's most likely "OMniscient Reader". Reliable leakers are saying Omniscient Reader is the "another very popular webtoon" that is getting an anime adapation.

It isn't Big O? Well, at least the rigmarole will be up in a few days when they announce more details on the 18th, can safely ignore this marketing campaign until then.
