This is how Psyren can still win.
I sincerely wish that Kagurabachi gets an anime before Sakamoto Days because it would be really, really funny. Also Kagurabachi totally should've been the article image instead of Nue Sexorcist. Also Kindergarten Wars would be great, assuming that Luke's VA survives the shoujo manga gags. |

What manga should become an anime next? A few series comes to mind...
Choujin X - The new hot series by Sui Ishida, famously known for Tokyo Ghoul. If I had to give a comparison, its kinda like MHA with the quirk premise but the story & lore behind everything is really interesting. The art is also a massive improvement from the clusterfuck panels in TG. The characters oh the characters are so well-written.. compared to TG's numerous cardboard cut-out characters. I just hope that when the times comes for the anime adaptation, the studio doesn't give every character really silky coloured wigs. Jagaaaaaan - I am shocked this series hasn't gotten a greenlight for an anime yet. Written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro (best known for Blue Lock), this has some of the best art I've seen. The action scenes are chaotic & fun. A lot of the characters are completely unhinged including the MC which makes for a fun read. If you're into stuff like Chainsaw Man, this one is right up your alley. Hatsukoi Zombies/Boys' Abyss - These are written by Ryō Minenami & are a lot less well-known but definitely worth a read & even more worthy of an anime. Hatsukoi Zombies is one of the best romcoms I have ever seen & it is such a massive shame that its just gonna get glossed over. With the series already over & with hardly any cult following, its a real shame that its probably not gonna get its anime debut. Boys' Abyss has a slightly higher chance of anime adaptation but again, the odds aren't much on their favour considering the material involved. Three Days of Happiness - I can see this one getting an anime movie sometime in the future... hopefully. Its not a very long series & I can definitely see it being condensed into a movie format similar to A Silent Voice. |

I'm shocked that they haven't made My Hero Academia - Vigilantes into an anime yet. I think that series is just as good as the main series. The only think I can think of is they are waiting until the original MHA is finished to adapt it.
Another series I would like to see animated is Yancha Gal no Anjō-san. |

This reminds me of how we didn't get a full run of Spriggan (the manga) until Spriggan (the Netflix anime) became a thing. Of course, I bought and read all four chonky omnibus volumes, having previously been introduced to the series by Spriggan (the movie). Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita is at the very top of my list for an anime TV show adaptation, and ideally a faithful one, too. Seems like the kind of high-profile project one of the big streaming services could pursue. As for more recent manga, I do like the idea of a Sakamoto Days anime. Akane-banashi could be a lot of fun in the right hands. Same with Tamon's B-Side, though I'd give that one a little more time before adapting it; there aren't many volumes out as it is. Theres only two Manga I really want to get an anime... one I sadly don't believe will happen and if it does am certain they'll change her character so she doesn't smoke which would suck as thats part of the charm of the series. That anime is "I messed up and made the wrong girl a magical girl" and I say that becus, we're dealing with a highschool girl. Pretty sure there are laws about that that would prevent that from being shown in anime. Oddly, u'd think that'd apply to manga as well... basically, the manga is true to its name. Kayano is a delinquent who smokes and fights and does other things and is turned into a magical girl but the being who did that soon realizes the mistake he made. Cue a buncha gags, puns, parody (even had DBZ's Kamehameha in it) and a lot more that redefine the magical girl genre. Who needs a wand to fight? Not Kayano. Theres still plenty of the old magical girl charm too, but it does a great job at making it its own for what remains. Its, a shame I don't believe we'll ever get this in anime form :(
The other iirc its title is called smoking behind the convenience store. This one I can see getting an anime and being uncensored since its an adult cast we're talking about here, while I haven't read the manga/LN (whichever it has), I prolly will like it. |

looking through this like “sighhh there’s no way junket bank will be mentioned there’s no translation” …. “whaaaaat.” As someone up to date with the series I can confirm that it is really really good.
It took top 10 last year (7th place) and im assuming itll get top 10/higher rank on the poll this year cause the popularity seems to be popping off in Japan. |

Holding out hope for Ohten no Mon, the drop-dead-gorgeous Heian mystery/suspense series about historical poets that has so little international interest I don't think anyone even pirates it. Still, it's going strong at 18 volumes, so someone in Japan must at least like it.

Alice 19th needs an anime. It's a wonderful shoujo magical girl story aimed at older teenagers, so somewhat dark but still very hopeful, and has that emotional goodness. I describe it as "Pretty Cure meets Stranger Things."

A couple off the cuff suggestions that come to mind would be:
- Burn the House Down (josei, domestic thriller, was adapted into a live-action last year) - Blank Canvas: My So-Called Artist's Journey (josei, semi-autobiographical, I think this would make a great film adaptation more than a series) - Last Game or Wake Up Sleeping Beauty (shojo, both relatively short romance series that could be covered in one cour with an actual ending. They also both have male protagonists, which I found kinda fun - same as when I see a female protagonist in shonen like Soul Eater or The Promised Neverland) Witch Hat Atelier was on my list for a while, but it was kinda paired with A Bride's Story and The House in Fata Morgana under adaptations I would be too nervous to see how they would even adapt the story or the gorgeous artwork haha Also as far as season continuations go, I would greatly appreciate more Yona of the Dawn (there's 40+ volumes at this point, and the anime ending right at the "okay, we've gathered all the party members" prologue before things really kick off still makes me a bit salty). Yona keeps getting new merch, cafes, stage adaptations (a musical was just announced yesterday iirc), but no S2. I would also like to see Bones wrap up Noragami now that the manga has ended, but not really holding my breath on that. |

I absolutely love that manga. And, yeah, that would make a damn fine anime if done right. Off the list, there's a part of me that would like to see Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii (I Love Your Cruddy) animated...Feel Good Show of the Year potential right there. |

I definitely like Nue's Exorcist waaaay more than the boring edgelord shtick Kaburabatchi is going for. But I don't read either of them.
