Are they way older in the manga or is he drawing them as adults? The rack on the middle one would suggest she's at least 5 years older than where the anime ends.

The anime ends with their last story as 10 year olds. There's a small 2-3 year time skip from there to middle school. Kaoru, (the middle one) is 13 right now in the manga. They look a little too mature for the age they're supposed to be, but I'm guessing it's because they'll continue looking that way until the next timeskip. |
