Just a correction for you guys. The simultaneous worldwide release has been postponed until April 7th. Both Bandai's Digital Beat website and the Gundam Unicorn site confirm this. March 5th-March 18th was initially suppose to be the event dates with the 18th being the initial release date, however due to preorder demands it was shifted to April 7th.

Michael Sinterniklaas is doing an excellent job with the English dub for Gundam Unicorn. It's probably the best English dub a Gundam anime has ever received.

Sucks it's been delayed, though I'm glad to hear it's doing that well, so much for all the pissing and moaning about the price, which IMO is worth it for how awesome this show is.

Its one of the best for sure though I really like the dubs Animaze did for the other Gundam OAV's back in the day like 0080, 0083, and 08th MS Team.

I don't mind the price either. I mean, I would rather pay 45 bucks for a 1 hour episode that I loved then the same price for an entire series that I don't even like that much. Thats how I've always looked at it anyway.

Your kidding right? Sure it's a great dub, but the better dubs for the gundam series by far are Gundam Wing as well as 0083.

However 8th MS Team, and as well as gundam seed & 00 S2 are near that mark too.

Ahahaha, oh wow. None of the ones you mentioned can even touch Unicorn's dub. Especially crap like 00's dub where they totally phoned it in. 0083's dub wasn't great, either. Both Kou and Nina's voices were horrible and Kou's VA especially couldn't act at all (which is probably why he was never in any other dub). Seed's dub was decent at best, nothing special at all.

Gundam Wing's dub? It was good at the time. It does not hold up. A lot of it sounds really awkward now.

08th MS Team is the only one you mentioned with a dub that can even compete with Unicorn's, and you could have mentioned the dub for the original series or Char's Counterattack, both of which were better than that one.

No, Unicorn clearly has a superior dub, very accurate and with massively good performances by all parties.

Steve Staley is the essential Gundam hero character for me. As both Shiro from 08th MS Team and Banagher in Unciron. I love Gundam Unicorn and it's dub, and can't wait for episode 3. After how dissapointed I was with 00 and it's crappy film, it's good to know I still have something Gundam related to look forward to.

I wasn't big on Staley as either Shiro or Seabook. But he's an excellent Banagher.
