If the MSRP for the Madoka vol. 2 BD is 50 bucks, why the hell was my local anime store charging 60 for it....the owner better not be trying to fleece me, when I know him as a pseudo-friend AND I was one of his first customers of ALL TIME.

If you are paying $60 you may as well be getting the LE's for $10 more on rightstuf. It is totally worth it; I can't tell you how much I love them so far. I can't wait for the last one!

juraiya vs. pain? i saw that so long ago via fansubs. it's good, but not anything like naruto vs. pain. it'll end faster than you think and leave you wondering where the hell was all the footage they showed in the opening that never happened in the actual story. i've gone legit by purchasing subs for crunchyroll and hulu plus but i still watch shippuuden from taka fansubs because their "illegal" fansubs are better translated than the "legal" options. why should i suffer from the the inferior work of "legal" streams just because some people think it's "wrong". in my opinion, it's wrong to pay for something that's worse than the free option. anyone that watches fansubs knows why this happens. because the "legal" streams are translated by pro translators that probably don't watch what they are translating or anime in general most likely and therefor don't give a flying fudge one way or another. they simply coldly translate the dialogue whereas the fansubs are subbed by fans that are emotionally invested in what they are subbing and go the extra mile to make the subs natural sounding. if you've never watched naruto fansubbed then you will have no idea what i'm talking about. it's shadow clone jutsu vs. doppelganger jutsu. which one sounds better to you and which one do you think came from fansubs?

I hope you were only planning on watching the English track or have an understanding of Japanese....lol. And hopefully you won't have to deal with the booting problems some have had with the discs.
