I guess they want more people watching the TV broadcast first, but followership seems pretty high already.

Edit; Nevermind, I forgot the BD came after summer, so it would put itself after the TV broadcast...

I'd say it's likely more about giving the folks who see it on TV a chance to preorder the LEs. Essentially screwing the TV folks out of a chance to grab the LEs would be bad business and the delay gives them a chance to print more should that be necessary, as opposed to just printing a bunch extra(how many American LEs never sold out?).
