13 films already ? If it goes on like that it will end up having more films than Doraemon (32 films) in a few decades.

Well each season has its own film (9 seasons including Smile) and for the past four years, there have been a DX movie that brings together all Precures to date. Precure is a very big hit in Japan among both otakus and children despite being a huge whimper outside of it. I wouldn't be surprised if they started doing even more movies as the cast grows. I should also mention that Smile is definitely living up to expectations thus far. Much faster than Suite and with a feel of Heartcatch. Characters are far more interesting and entertaining than Suite despite a similar plot advancement. It is also after all, the biggest cast we've seen since Yes! Precure 5 several years ago. |

If I remember correctly, didn't they made the announcement of a Smile Precure! movie at the very end of the Pretty Cure All Stars New Stage: Mirai No Tomodachi movie?
