NEWS: Pokémon: Shinsoku no Genesect Film to Open on July 13

So, moviegoers can receive Genesect in January yet the film isn't out until July? Surely it's just another random distribution?

Also, wouldn't the title be "ExtremeSpeed Genesect" as the direct translation of the movie title matches the Japanese name for the "ExtremeSpeed" move in the games?

Genesect is red so it's 3x faster than the average Genesect.

It would if you used dub names as a 'direct translation' I guess. Shinsoku translates to "God Speed". The Godspeed Genesect is what it actually means if you want a true direct translation. But yeah, shinsoku is also the name of a move in the games, and a lot of anime for that matter.

Anyway, there's just rumors, but I hear the anime will tie into this movie like they did for Mewtwo Strikes Back. Since N, G-Cis and Achroma appear in the anime next month after the Isshu League ends, and we see Achroma studying Genesect in the preview, it might be true.
