Original projects? Sweet! And I know this is asking for too much, but, since they said 'original' maybe it'll be a second season of Psycho Pass? Hopefully? The anime has been selling well and the manga is selling well too. Please Noitamina? Laughing

From the looks of it appears that Komaba will not be so similar to Greed from Fullmetal Alchemist. Another character looks like the protagonist from Hero Tales and my avatar from FMA.

I remember a sitcom in the 1980's called "Silver Spoons." It was about a wealthy man who didn't really grow up and his young son who grew up too soon. It was a really nice series with a great theme song. One of the stars of the series was Ricky Schroeder, who's continued in acting for years after that series was cancelled. I wonder if this anime got it's title from that sitcom?

The premise of this one is nothing like that of the early '80s sitcom, though. Also, "silver spoon" is an idiom that existed for decades prior to that sitcom, so that there would be no name connection is entirely plausible.

Silver spoon was first used in the 1710s I think as a sign of a good health. I think the manga actually explains it.

The expression "to be born with a silver spoon in one's mouth" implies that the person has a privileged, somewhat sheltered upbringing. It's a very old English saying.

I can't wait to see silver spoon, though I'm a bit torn because this whole time, I could have read the manga but never did because I thought it would be licensed and I'd be able to read it in book form...

I wanted to read it as well but hate reading manga Online, especially weekly titles.

And if my google searching of Japanese names was right I knew I heard Ryohei Kimura Smile

I always see this at the Japanese bookstores and really wanted to read the manga and get into it, but nobody has picked it up for translation and North American distribution.

Hopefully this will get picked up and we can all have an opportunity to view it all.

I'm not all that interested in Silver Spoon, but I am interested in the possibility of new Noitamina anime, I hope one of them is created by BONES, because they have several in the pipeline...

I've only read the first 20 or so chapters, but to be honest I found it pretty boring. I'll probably still give the anime a go though.
