I think tokyopop should have gotten it instead of Viz. Viz flips everything aroud so it reads left-to-right and i cant stand that

Uh...no they don't. All of Viz's recent acquisitions have been unflipped, and they're not going to change that policy with this series.

XP i remember the days when people were predicting the manga would never get licensed. too much scandal. golly, whatever barriers anime/manga had to break through before are definitely gone with the licensing of angel sanctuary.

i meant ranma 1/2 was flipped. thats pretty much the only viz one i read so i figured they were all like that

Shoujo manga is a niche market within a niche market (manga) within a niche market (comics). The chances of it offending people are fairly small...IMHO
I don't think the content was THAT big an issue in licensing this serie.

yeah well, incest, overthrowing god, lucifer as a good guy... you're absolutely right, no reason to say wow at all. you're probably right about the people who would normally get offended by it actually ever getting exposed to this, but you never know, this is america, everybody is offended by something.
