Oo interesting. I might watch some bits of the original season to get more a more refreshment of the upcoming season.

I'm looking forward to this! Silhouette looks cool!

And I REALLY hope they don't replace the seiyuu with younger ones. >______< I really want Kae Araki to play Hikari! And wouldn't mind her playing ChibiUsa in Crystal, but time will tell . . . I miss hearing her in new stuff.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's Hikari saying that. I wonder if Takeru will refer to Yamato as "Niisan" instead of "Oniichan" as he did the former in the 2nd Diablomon movie (a lot of Japanese fan site seem to take that as him getting older).

I'm still really hoping the drama CDs that took place after 02 will be canon, but not in a way that alienates people who didn't listen to them.

And yaaaaaay, Agumon in the silhouette! Can you believe how many fan works/fanfics that portray the characters in high school seem to ignore the Digimon partners? Glad this isn't.

I'm pretty sure the "photo from that day" is the one they took in the finale of Adventure that Andromon used to remember Hikari.

Holy hell, I dunno why the hell i'm getting all that hype for, for a digimon anime, and man, do that silhouette look good... I thought his design would look smaller since alot of characters in digimon except for 'savers' dont look that tall even the adults... I'm glad his design actually make him look 17

We were a good 3 or 4 days away from hatching the egg before Scumon was sicked upon us on 8/17, so this information was delayed about two-and-a-half weeks.

... Why? What's so important here we couldn't have seen it two weeks ago? Two key visuals and what seems like the script for the first scene of the first episode weren't ready two weeks ago?

Considering they are throwing up another egg soon, I imagine they want to have one silhouette per month or something, hence the random limitation. Only reason I can imagine that they would want to postpone it like the did.

This is more or less as much info as I expected at this point, though I thought there would be a hint of actual story. We'll see if the next few eggs keeps the fan's interest.

Why are so many saying they should retcon 02? That's a TERRIBLE idea.

I remember the last time this sequel was mentioned here, there was a lot of this "They should do what fans on the internet say they want!" like catering to shippers--Digimon has almost no romance. And watching the Chosen Children get into fights over who likes who would be a terrible idea as well.

This takes place 3 years or so after that (22 years before the epilogue) so that needs to be retconned.

As long as they do something with the dropped plots of Dagomon and the Dark Ocean and Daemon then I don't really care.

I'd have to go back and rewatch it in Japanese, but he says in the DIGITAL world? Doesn't that leave it open for the real world or Dark Ocean?

The epilogue of 02 literally screws everything over.

It's kinda of like Gundam Wing Endless Waltz > Frozen Teardrop right now. You don't say at the end of a show/film "Evil never resurfaced, etc." when you plan on doing a sequel some years down the line.

Unless they do it in the Real World, retconning the last bit of 02 makes sense. Besides, I can't really see why they would do it in the Real World considering that's the majority of where Tamers and Savers take place and Adventure has normally been about the Digital World.
