Unsurprisingly so. He takes a ton of breaks in order to travel and do whatever. He's a troll for the fans.

I just want to see Tsubasa lose.

He lost against Meiwa FC in the original series. But if you mean in his professional career, yeah, they could ad a couple of losses and not for cheat reasons such as not being able to play because of injuries or national duty or whatever reason. A team loss where he plays from start to finish.

I dislike how Kojiro Hyuga, his biggest rival in the entire series has been reduced to the status of being just another player when he's the only one to have actually beaten Tsubasa.

The "troll" part can also apply to the HXH hiatuses from Togashi.

Tsubasa was 11 back in 1981, he is 44 by now. Laughing

But even if you look at manga time line, the sheer amount of events that were already described through decades would make Tsubasa much older than 11.
