I predict the award will go to Doraemon. That thing was just a juggernaut at the box office.

Is box office performance that important to these awards? I don't think even the Oscars are like that.

At any rate, my hopes go to Marnie.

Meanwhile in America, there is no announcement yet for Doraemon season 2 NOR Stand By Me Doraemon USA release date.

Marnie was a really good movie, very worthy of the studio it came from, though I really hope it isn't the final Ghibli film we'll be seeing. I've heard Giovanni's Island was really good as well.
