They are to good way to quickly bring up-to-speed new fans who don't have/want to invest the time in watching the 1st season. But I get your point, for existing fans, the films don't offer anything gripping for them (us) to watch. But hey, new information about the 2nd season was announced as well, so it isn't all bad. |

The idea of a Haikyu!! stage play makes me laugh almost as hard as the fact that they made an Air Gear musical.

I thought the new HQ! would start airing in Summer, once KuroBas is over. Wonder what they'll put up there to replace KuroBas now

Them who? And where? Kuroko no Basket and Haikyuu!! don't air in the same place, they aren't a substitution to each other. Haikyuu!! airs in what is right now Nanatsu no Taizai timeslot. After Nanatsu no Taizai it will be Arslan Senki, and if that gets 2-cours, than Haikyuu!! 2nd season will substitute it! Who? Production I.G.? in average that studio does 1 new series per season, and has around 2 or 3 running at a given time. In the Summer they will have running, Ace of Diamond and some other new anime that they still didn't said publicly(or they will take a rest on that season). About Haikyuu!! 2nd season starting on fall, is pretty obvious why that is. Production I.G. takes 1 year break before adapting another Season and in that way always get enough content for a continuous cycle of 2-cour full adaptations. Haikyuu!! 1st season ended in Summer, so 1 year later is in Fall. |

If I remember corretly, Ace of Diamond is made by madhouse and another studio, can't remember it |

I'm all up for the recap movies as I can relive the show without having to sit through 25 episodes again... Not that I would mind for Haikyuu as the first season was awesome but finding the time is a little more difficult.
