Ghosts? Didn't Ninjago just do that?
Sorry, please don't kill me for bringing Lego to an anime forum... |

Ah yes, Issac Newton was pretty well known for his ability to manipulate gravity after all.
Seriously though, this guy looks like Deadpool with a very classy jacket. Emerje |

Kamen Rider Edison needs to be a thing.

Newton's ability in Nobunagun was gravity manipulation as well.
According to Crunchyroll's article, Edison is one of the forms Ghost will have. I'm cautiously optimistic about this. I enjoyed Nobunagun, which has a similar set of abilities. But with Drive being panned so much, it makes me glad I skipped this one (the plot synopsis didn't interest me). |

I hope we get another show like Gaim, I'm not a fan of the goofy rider stuff. Fourze was cool, though.

I wouldn't hold my breath on another Gaim for a good while. That was a very odd and specific case.
Also, a plot synopsis was posted some time ago on various Toku websites:

Just curious: What do you mean by it being odd and specific? |

Yeah, Gaim was thoroughly Urobuchi in terms of both composition and content. If anything, the fact that it's a Kamen Rider show probably held him back; I'm sure Toei placed some big restrictions on his writing (like "it can't get too dark" and "not too many deaths") because they wanted to be able to bring these characters back for crossovers.
Of course, on the other hand, that's not necessarily a bad thing since while Gaim was great as a stand-alone story. I wouldn't want every single Rider series to be the same thing over and over. |

Im liking this new design. The jacket is awesome. Considering how the shows are bike themed, I'm surprised by how few of the riders have had awesome jackets in their Rider forms.

Well I can't say that Toei is lazily copying something they've already done. If they aren't throwing in a new toy every other episode, it might be something to watch.

Though Urobuchi's name caught my eye, I skipped Gaim because I just couldn't get past the idea of superheroes modeled on...fruits. Of all things. I guess nothing strikes fear into the heart of an invading monster like...an orange?
I haven't really gotten into a rider show since Kiva, which I really liked. Anyway, not so sure about this one; when I saw the title, I started hoping for another horror-themed rider, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Might give it a try, though. |

After my first Kamen Rider (W, quickly followed by OOO) last year, I tried to watch Drive as it aired. It just didn't hook me though and I stopped around ep.17, opting instead to keep going through the shows chronologically with the intention of giving it another go when I'd caught up. But I think I'll be leaving it on indefinite hold because Ghost actually sounds way more interesting premise-wise than Drive ever did-- the more I hear about it, the more I'm anticipating October.
