OMG YES, I knew it <3 I wonder if this season will be 12 episodes or 24, because there's not a lot that has happened after the match in the manga so far. At least not enough to fill 12 episodes. Then again, by the time they finish the spoiler[Shiratorizawa match], it'll be December.

I'm surprised as this seems like an early announcement. Looking forward to it for sure as I always liked Haikyu!! (both anime and manga).

Lol that would have been a sour note ending. Haikyuu is waaay to high spirits to let that happen. Also Haikyuu got 18 vols out at the moment. So yeah... spoiler ? Not really. Anyway glad they have announced it. While I had no doubts we would be getting S3 it still is good to have a relatively fast confirmation. |

I thought it was interesting that the final line of the article states that Viz is going to release the manga in the US starting in July. That seems like some big news on it own that I did not know about.
Anyway, more Haikyu is always a good thing! |
